One of the Simplest knots to tie is the “Canoeman” knot or known as the Reverse loop knot. This knot is so simple to tie once you learn how to tie it you can literally tie the knot in the dark. Some of the lures I would use this knot on would be crank baits, lipless crank baits, top water poppers, dog walkers, etc just make sure you use Fluorocarbon line for abrasion resistance and no stretch for leader material.
