If you are looking for an easy low profile knot to tie especially when connecting a larger diameter line to a smaller diameter line this is a fishing knot you should try.

It works best with mono and flourocarbon combination. This know works with Fly line to leader as well.

It can be done with braid to mono but the improved Albright is a better option.
