This Catfish Looks Like a Cow But Do You Think it Tastes Like Chicken?

Did this fish come from the sweet union of cow and fish?

Well, probably not, but its colors are just as rare as a union like that.

Austin Clanch, Oklahoma fisherman, snagged a beauty on his line this past weekend with this interesting-colored catfish.

A news group in Oklahoma sent the photos of the fish that Clanch posted to Facebook to the Oklahoma Wildlife Department, where it was decided that this cow-fish is actually just a leucitic catfish.

Leucism is a condition of partial pigment loss, specifically in animals. Unlike albinism, there is a difference in types of pigment through the body, not just the melanin pigment.

Regardless, I’d like to think the Chik-fil-A cows would be very happy. Eat more fish.
