The Fin is a fairly new shoe by Soft Science, the idea behind it was to create a drainable shoe that would provide comfort when being worn all day on the water. The Trileon insole and bottom is a closed-cell foam that doesn’t retain water or odor. The best way to describe them is the comfortability of a pair of crocs with the look of a nice boat shoe. It uses a double layer of mesh for the upper part of the shoe that allows water to drain out of the toe box but prevents sand and other debris from entering those same holes.

I’ve been using this particular pair for about a month now, when I get out of the water and and into my kayak it takes about 10-20 minutes for my feet to be completely dry.
