These finesse pliers is pretty much all I need to fish inshore and freshwater these days. For about $10 you get pliers, cutters that cuts braid, split ring tool and two knives.

I find it convieneit and light to carry around even in your pocket. In saltwater they will rust so you do need to rinse them out after each usage.
