After two dogs and a few chicken went missing a local community feared a snake may have eaten the animals.  Last Sunday night Larry Fahrig saw a large snake chasing his poodle.  After yelling for help and grabbing his dog the snake was no where to be found.  A few nights later Pauline Horstdaniel woke up to her St. Bernard-Lab mix going crazy in the yard.  Fearing for the dogs life she woke her husband up who called his dad to help.  It took two shots to kill the massive snake.
